Our Vision…
As the leading International Baccalaureate World School in France, we prepare our students to engage with and succeed in a complex world.
Our Guiding Statements…
These seven Guiding Statements further articulate our Vision and Mission. They provide a set of commitments that make explicit why and how we educate for complexity.
Our High Quality Learning Definition…
High quality learning is a social and experiential practice. It sparks students’ curiosity and stimulates their natural creativity. It inspires them to strive for excellence, and to take ownership of their own inquiry and research. It shapes the learner and the learning community, nurturing growth and new understandings.

Choosing the right international school in Paris is a journey and we know that choosing during the pandemic is challenging. That’s why our Admissions Team is available to answer your questions at any time – contact Admissions by email, phone and Zoom.
We are currently able to welcome families to our three beautiful campuses, following a strict health and safety protocol – please reach out to us to organise your personal tour and meeting with the Admissions team. If you are not yet in Paris, our interactive virtual tours are the best way to discover our facilities, examples of student learning and how we practice the International Baccalaureate.
On our website you can explore ISP’s values, community and response to COVID-19. Our vision, “Educating for complexity” has never felt more appropriate – discover more about how we have strategically adapted our students’ learning experiences to help them succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
The admissions pages of the website are where you can find the details of the application process. Applications for the 2022-23 academic year remain open and can be completed online – we can welcome students throughout the year. Applications for 2023-24 are open.
Each family is unique, so getting to know you is our Admissions Team’s most important mission. Whether you are considering joining ISP from France, or from further afield, our Admissions Team is eager to assist you as you choose the best international school for your family.
Curriculum
Which Curriculum Is Taught at ISP?
The International School of Paris is an IB World School, and the first school in France to offer the three main programmes of the International Baccalaureate (IB): the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP).
In order to teach IB programmes, schools must be authorised. ISP received authorisation for the IB Diploma Programme in 1982, for the IB Middle Years Programme in 2003 and for the IB Primary Years Programme in 2004.
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) programmes encourage both personal and academic achievement, challenging students to excel in their studies and in their personal development. The International Baccalaureate Organisation
