- Activity-based learning: Combined eighty-minute classes of each grade are taken on a routine basis. The programme enhances learning through competitive participation of all the sections. Subject teachers develop the lesson through power point presentation. Hands-on activity is displayed after presentation. Head of the department reviews and recaps the session at the end. An evaluation is done at the end by giving MCQs to the students to compare abilities of students of each section.
- Camping and Field Trip: Students are taken for Field Trips depending on weather and social conditions. Regular visits to other partners in education are also arranged. Written permission from parents is required in this matter.
- Open house meet: Principal and Parents. Parents are able to share their ideas and place their opinion regarding development of the school. The school is open and has relationship of trust and mutual respect with parents. We believe there should be an effective partnership between the school and the parents/guardians if we are to achieve the desired goals for our children.
- Student counseling session is done by Principal to help students seeking admission in different universities abroad and possibilities of getting scholarships etc. Students are also guided in terms of choosing appropriate subjects for pursuing their individual career.
Admission Procedures
Parents may collect Admission Forms from the Admin Office or from the school website on payment of necessary fees. Parents will provide the required details to complete the Admission Form and submit all the required documents along with it. Students are required to sit for admission test and appear for interviews. A student will only be admitted if found suitable in all respects.
The documents needed for admission are as follows:
- Birth certificate of the child (Birth Certificate from City Corporation/Union Parishad) or a photocopy of Passport.
- 2 copies of passport size photographs of the child.
- 1 copy of the passport size photograph of each parent.
- Copy of the latest Report Card and Transfer certificate of the last school attended (except for Play Group).
- Photocopy of National ID card of the parents.
- Medical Certificate of the child.
Admission in AS (Advanced Subsidiary) and A2 (Advanced Level) is taken on the basis of CAIE or school completion transcript.

Admission into HURDCO International School is granted to qualified students without any prejudice to race, colour, creed, religion or nationality.
Infrastructure
The institution is housed in its own premises of 5.5 bigha land with a fully air-conditioned building thereon. It is a well-equipped building with state-of-the-art library, science and computer laboratories and a standard cafeteria. The school’s football ground and cricket pitches badminton and basketball courts are added attractions for the young and vibrant students. Indoor games facilities include table tennis, chess, carom, scrabble etc.
