Closing in on a Century: The British School, Rio de Janeiro

Almost a century ago, a daring businessman, Sir Alexander Mackenzie, moved to Rio and established a small school at Rua Santa Clara 84 in Copacabana. In 2024, The British School, Rio de Janeiro will therefore celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding. We would like to take this historic opportunity to show our appreciation to all the past and current students, parents and staff. We will be organising events, activities and celebrations and endeavour to keep you informed of our plans and invite you to share in those celebrations.
